“One helluva fun, pop-up theatre experience” ~ Joshua Chong, The Toronto Star

Theatre in Transit is a free, immersive performance on wheels, taking Guild Festival Theatre patrons from Kennedy TTC and Guildwood GO stations to Guild Park & Gardens. Each journey features a live interactive experience inspired by that evening's production, whether it's Brontë: The World Without or Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. Expect surprises, storytelling, and the chance to become part of the action before you even arrive at the theatre.

Shuttles run return trips on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from July 17 to August 23.

How It Works

Theatre in Transit is free for Guild Festival Theatre ticket holders.

You must have an existing booking for a Guild Festival Theatre performance for the same day that you are booking Theatre in Transit.

There are two trips available each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from July 17 to August 23.

  • Kennedy Station Passenger Pick Up and Drop Off, Departing at:

    • Friday & Saturday: [TIME]

    • Sunday: [TIME]

  • Guildwood GO Station, Westlake Road Parking Lot, Departing at:

    • Friday & Saturday: [TIME]

    • Sunday: [TIME]

Following the performance, the shuttle will return passengers to their original pickup location.

The week of your visit, you'll receive an email with pickup instructions, bus details, and everything else you need to turn the commute into a performance.

In the event that you are not booked for a GFT show, or you exchange your booking for another performance date, your Theatre in Transit ticket will be cancelled to allow other patrons to make use of that slot.
