Support the Guild Festival Theatre

Help us welcome our new team of Artistic Directors!

Our new team of Artistic Directors, Helen Juvonen & Tyler J. Seguin, have BIG PLANS for the Guild Festival Theatre: For the first time in the company’s history, the GFT will be programming a multi-show season! Everyone on the Board of Directors is incredibly excited by these ambitious plans, so we’re raising funds to help make them a reality.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 by Thanksgiving, and to show our new Artistic Directors just how much we believe in their vision, we are pledging our own money to match donations. That’s right - the members of the board promise to DOUBLE the first $1,000 that you contribute!

We were thrilled to announce the appointment of our new team of artistic leaders this summer. Helen & Tyler not only bring many years of professional theatre experience to the company, they also have a history with the Guild Festival Theatre and its community of patrons and artists. Their production of “Anne” was a huge success and we can’t wait to see what they do with a season of shows!

We know you’re as excited as we are about the 2020 season and we hope you’ll show us your support with a donation. Every dollar raised makes sure that professional live theatre returns to the beautiful Guild Park summer after summer.

From speaking with our sponsors, we've learned that all organizations value their brand and profile within the community. Our magnificent Greek Theatre stage was built with marble salvage from a bank in downtown Toronto. In other words, the proud legacy of Canadian business is literally the backbone of our performance site. The corporate splendour of a bank has become the physical platform on which the arts can grow and thrive.

Our performance venue is one-of-a-kind in Canada and so is the brand affiliation for sponsors and corporate givers. Our multi-year media sponsors ensure the recognition and reach that will make you and your clients proud.

For a theatre such as ours, no gift is greater and more conducive to growth than the gift of stability. An endowment with annual payouts is the lifeblood that allows our educators, artists and visionaries to engage fully with the future.

Your multi-year endowment will keep you always centre stage in the evolution of Arts at The Guild.

The distinguished legacy of The Guild will be enriched when you leave a personal legacy in our name.

If you have included Guild Festival Theatre in your will, kindly notify us at, so that we may give thanks and honour your bequest. In appreciation, you will receive special invitations and free tickets to our plays every year.
